Leaving car at port? (Boston or Jersey)

Recommended Posts

We are interested in sailing from Boston or New Jersey to avoid flying. Does anyone know the parking arrangements at either port? Cost? Convenience? Any tips? Thanks for any help!

We are sailing out of NJ on the 17th of June.

We are parking our car @ the Bonanza Bus station in Providence for free. The transfers are $66 p/p.

If you were to drive to NJ - parking at the pier is $12 per day.

There really isnt anywhere to park in Boston - living in Warwick you would be better off driving to Providence or maybe CT. Not sure where in CT though the bus stops.

Thanks for the info! Is the parking in NJ actually on RCCL property? Are transfers needed or are you "right there"?

Yes, the parking is right next to the terminal. You can drop your passengers off and park closeby. It's a short walk, but they also have small shuttle vans if needed. Important to know they accept credit cards. Have had no problems with parking

You can also park your car at the Black Falcon Pier for $12.00 a Day

For our 10 day cruise parking would already total $120.00. For $70 bucks we figure the hotel room for the night will be worth it plus we will be more rested for our 1st day on the cruise. We leave mid week also, on Thursday so we won't have to worry about traffic either if we were to travel there same day as cruise, we will have all day to get there since we Leave for Boston the day before, should work out pretty good.

Have never cruised from Bayonne so I can't help you with that.
