Oceanis Nautica Veranda Room Size

I am thinking of a veranda room on an upcoming cruise. Does the 216 sqft they note in brouchure include the veranda or is that the room size?

That measurement would include the veranda.

This is an example of such a stateroom on the Marina &/or Riviera

While this is what they are like on the Regatta &/or Nautica

We spent 39 days in an A3 on Nautica and never felt cramped. Since we were in Asia in Feb/March, we had to bring clothes for hot, humid weather and cold, damp weather (it actually snowed while we were in Korea!). Everything stowed perfectly. Our other cruises have been 30 and 35 days and again, no problems with fitting in all our gear.....and ourselves.

The love seat wasn't very comfortable though....sagged big time! Sure wish they change out the upholstery too....same-o same-o for the 5 years we've been sailing on O.

I believe the interior space of the verandah cabin on Nautica is 165 sq. ft.

Not quite, Henry, the OCEANVIEW cabins on Nautica (and Regatta) come in at 165 square feet.

The VERANDA CABINS are a palatial 173 square feet, plus the veranda (most of which measure from 43 to 45 square feet).

It may be difficult to refrain from ballroom dancing.... :p

Ballroom dancing? So that's what you call the movements we have to make to pass one another at the end of the bed on Nautiga/Regatta? And here I've been calling it gymnastics!:p

I agree with the comment about the love seat, but the closets on the R ships are easier to get in to and all the drawers are full sized. :)

 Which comment about what love seat

It's not nice to mess with my mind, mother used Aluminum pots and pans when I was a child...

We have been in A,B, & C Cat cabins & did not notice any difference in the size of the space (not including balcony)...of course I did not have my tape measure with me ;)
