I have been doing some research on visa for PNG also. One thing I learned from another post is that visa is only good for 6 months from approval so be careful not to get started too soon. Like you I have had trouble getting answers from Seabourn other than to use a visa service.

SO has recently had a shoulder replacement surgery. She is concerned about getting in and out of Zodiacs. Have the expedition ships done anything special to easy entry and exit. Any advice on how to limit pressure on shoulders while getting in and out. TIA

It looks like the Spirt will be in Abu Dhabi on the day of the Formula 1 race. Does anyone know of a place near the cruise terminal that we can go to watch the race? Anyone interested in trying to get last minute (after we are sure what the ship is doing for sure) tickets. Race starts at 5:00pm so we could go after the morning excursions.

Silverseas was less than helpful, one person told me to use a visa service and the other hung up one me. I used the ship name for the refernce name ie Silversea Silver Spirt, the port adresss which I had to google and no longer have, and the ship phone number 17863225288 (for Silver Spirit found on website) Good luck, it is one of the more complicated visa forms but only cost $40

I have been working to obtain the visa for Inda for an upcoming Silversea cruise. Does anyone know what wwe are supposed to use for the Reference name in India, address and phone number? Not getting any help fro Silverseas on phone or email.

I am trying to get the maritime visa for SA also. When I put in the url something comes up in Arabica. How di I get it to display in English. Also when I use google translate one the site it is not clear that this site is for the maritime visa. Has anyone had success getting one? Please advise how you were able to get one.

I have seen the same problem with the website but have found it to be intermittent. If you have time, watch it for a couple of days or try another browser.

is there a listing somewhere, or a way to find out, which ports Windstar provides a shuttle to nearby city. Example - Port of Gexto to nearby city of Bilbao. First timer with Windstar so I don't know what they normally provide.

Looking at booking a cruise 6 weeks out. Any advantages to booking air through Windstar? Thinking it is possible flights might be less expensive of have a baggage allowance. TIA

Does anyone have email contact information for Princess and carnival. I recently had an incrediibly bad experience that I would like to communicate directly to Princess and Carnival. Problem involves both Princess HQ and on ship personel. Perfer real peoples name in customer care, guest relations, general management, legal, or anyone else you feel could help. Email address format would help i.e. (last name dot first initial @ princess dot com) as I have several names. TIA

OP here updating the outcome -- the window just closed on the last flight that could work. Princess ran out the clock. Bottom line, the could have chosen to help at no cost to them but couldn’t be bothered. Thank all of you for your help and suggestions.

In responce to your questions No insurance TA is working on it but we are running out of time itinerary SFO, sea day, sea day, Ketchikan, Juneau, several more Alaskan ports,Prince Rupert, 2 sea days, SFO No EzAir but their en route staffing said yes to Ketchikan but only ship could approve Juneau

En route staffing said I could rejoin at first port (would arrive after ship departed) but not the second because it was a tender port. Said only ship could approved. After several lies ship said only corporate could approve and, so sorry, corporate would not be in until sometime today. Need a resolution by around noon or can’t catch a flight to second port. Anybody have any ideas or magic phone numbers to share

Does anyone have a phone number you can call with airline problems intransit to the cruise. I booked door to door and Silversea booked me a day of cruise flight. Who do I call if I run into a problem with my flight. I assume there is an emergency number of some kind but I can't find it in my paperwork.

We are taking our first cruise to Silversea's and have booked a guarantee cabin. When will we learn which cabin we will be staying in?

Thinking of taking a Silversea cruise. Can someone explain what is meant by excursions included and how they work. Are all excursions included or just a few with others available at an up charge. When can you make reservations?

Agree with your comments and a few to add from recent Quest cruise from a long time Seabourn fan. -Need sugar in your coffee - be prepared to disassemble the container - New devices for sugar and sweetner just don't work in marine environment. -Want a hot, to order breakfast - place an order and you will have a 50-50 chance with a 33% chance it will take over 20 minutes. -Want a printed daily Herald - Just ask, and ask, and ask, and ask. And yes did we did complete a review and several discussions with mgrs

Are cabs or Uber available to get from cruise port to international airport. What is the approximate fare.
