Where did the "Recent posts" and "Search" buttons go?

There used to be "Recent Posts" and "Search" buttons on the right side of the yellow bar near the top of the page. I used both of them yesterday, and every day before that.

 

I must have worn them out, because they are gone today!:eek:

 

The "Recent Posts" listed all new posts regardless of the area where they were entered, and provided a great method for scanning for useful information.

The "Search" button provided an "Advanced Search" option which could be used find posts made by a specific user, or to limit searches to a known area, which provided better results.

 

They just removed the two tools I used the most!

I miss the search button too! Sure saved time rather than having to scan through posts for the information you want. Someone find it, please!

Yah. When I posted this It was really late at night. I couldn't believe that the buttons were missing, and even re-booted the computer to be sure it wasn't me. The next morning I felt really stupid that they were back where they belonged.

 

Maybe it was all just a dream! :o

I can’t find mine? Can I ask where the new posts/recent post button is now? Mine used to be up near members list etc - but it's disappeared from my sight....pesky little blighter!
