Grad Turk

I SCUBA'd GrandTurk in March2012. For your 'short day' ashore one simply pays $$to a local operator of Snorkel/SCUBA tours that are about 500 feet from the end of the CruiseShip Pier. Hardly worth the effort to try and 'second guess' the wind & weather until the day of arrival as regards where the water/fishies viewing is calmest etc. If it's raining cats and dogs...forget about it. 'THE WALL' is the World Famous underwater cliff that plunges to 7000' thousand feet deep literally directly behind the CruiseShip. All snorkel/SCUBA tours are up and down the beach; and out beyond their sandy beach is THE WALL. Your experience level, physical fitness and nerve will tell you what you are game for doing. HINT: Why not try a 1st timer 'Beginneer SCUBA' experience?? It's a very All-business/serious SCUBA experience that gets you down deep if SCUBA is on your Bucket List. No more scary than Parachuting and such....but oh-so wonderful to swim like a fishy amongst the coral about 20' feet below the surface towards THE WALL for a peek down into the abyss..read my old posts and CruiseReview for more info. Bye. Locomotiveman TOM
