Future Cruise Credit 5 day vs 5 nights

Point of clairification question.

 

I bought a FCC and used it on our upcoming Destiny cruise. The cruise is 6 days or 5 nights.

 

On the back of the FFC it says you only get a credit of $50 for a 3-5 day cruise; $75 for a 6 day and $100 for a 7-9.

 

Should we be getting a $50 credit or $75?

 

Carnival and I have a disagreement on this.

They go by nights just like a hotel. So just $50.

Sorry it's listed as a 5 day cruise on Carnival so you'll get the $50~ They should list them as nights to avoid confusion but they don't~ just like with the VIFP program, you'll only get credit for 5 not 6~

If you count 24 hour days, its still 5 days too ..

 

You get off to debark very early in the morning.

 

Any way you count it.. its 5 days, 5 nights.
