Hal Rewards Credit Card

Why doesn't HAL have a rewards credit card? This is a profitable line of business and builds customer loyalty. Several other cruise lines have them, including RCL, NCL and Celebrity has two credit card programs. HAL, if you are reading this, get with the rewards program!

I suggested this a couple of years ago on this forum. Nothing yet!

I personally have looked at RCL's credit card program and did not find it to be that great. I personally would rather have a good AIRLINE card to earn free travel or fly first class to my cruise destination. Overall that saves me far more for vacation than it would take to cruise for free.

 

Right now when we travel with the miles we have built up on two different cards I never actually consider what the cost is to get to where the ship is. We are flying in July to Boston for our Maasdam cruise First Class all free from using air miles. Of course the down side is you normally have to book way in advance but the same goes for booking a cruise in recent times.
