Near elevator or not?

We've been near the elevators on several ships, and find it very convenient. We've never been bothered by noise or intrusive passers-by. We walk a lot on ships for exercise - promenade deck and using the stairs, but find a long passage to get to our cabin to be somewhat claustrophobic and depressing, so we always try for one just a door or two away from the stairwell lobby.

I will tell you why 6367 is not a good idea... there is a band that sets up right across from the casino bar and they do not start playing until 9pm and play into the wee hours.

1404 is your better choice. Everything is located in the aft-- except the main show lounge. the only "inconvenience" there is the wait for an elevator.

this is the elevator that will get you to the aft dining room,

I have been trying to find a photo of these "sideways" interior cabins. Anyone?
