Silhouette Clothng question

Hi, We just booked a 7 day eastern Caribbean cruise on the Silhouette. When ever I go onto the Celebrity web site a view the photos of the ship everyone is well dressed even when in the pool and in the casino some are in suits. Is this the norm for this ship or is it what Celebrity whats you to think. If it's the norm we will need to do some shopping.

Hi Chris we have sailed on the Silhouette 3 times now and although my husand wears a suit on the formal nights, all the other evenings are smart casual or casual, during the day most people will be in casual trousers or shorts and t shirts.

 

We usually cruise in the Med which is probably slightly less casual than the Caribbean, so I am sure as you have cruised before you will be fine. Enjoy :)

You 'll find many who are in dressier clothes in the evening, and extremely casual clothes aren't allowed in the MDR. But while it shouldn't be much different than your previous cruises, shopping is encouraged just on general principles :):):)

I also thought this. We sail on the eclipse in two weeks for our first cruise.

Our normal caribbean day time wardrobe consists of beach shorts, kaftans and wraps with the occassional pair of dresser shorts if we fancy dining in a restaurant for lunch. I was hoping I wouldn't need to buy anything else for the day time and hoping it will be hot.
