taxi fare to/from paradise beach to cruise port?

How much taxi fare should I expect to pay per person for 4 one way to paradise beach from cruise port? I assume return trip would be the same cost. We are on the carnival conquest.

Do you have to negotiate the price or is it fixed? Also what is customary tip?

Cost each way for up to 4 in a cab should be about $15+tip -- taxi fares should be posted near the cab line by your pier. Tipping is up to you, but 10-20% is average, so $2-3 should do it. Split 4 ways that works out to under $5 per person each way. ;)

Cozumel you pay for the cab, not pp. From Puerta Maya, where most carnival ships dock, the cab is $13. From the port in town, the cab will be $15. While the rates are set, not all cabs follow the rates, so make sure you agree on your rate before entering the cab.
