The Israeli immigration police could board the ship at the previous port of call and conduct their interviews the day before reaching Israel.

 

As above.

 

Eilat is the only port of call in Israel, I doubt if Egyptian or Jordanian authorities would accommodate Israeli immigration officers embarking in their countries.

 

When we visited all tourists entering Israel at Eilat were interviewed in the large immigration hall at the quayside.
