Rare LHT28 Posted December 14, 2012 #2 Share Posted December 14, 2012 I believe the O class ships both have the spin bicycles The length of the track is not very big you have to do many laps to do a mile ;)

The Fitness track is at the top of the aft superstucture, known as Deck 16, and it runs around the base of the funnel.
wristband Posted December 15, 2012 #4 Share Posted December 15, 2012 Riviera has a beautiful gym with plenty of stationary and recumbent bikes. I can't recall if there are spin bikes or a spin class. Hopefully someone can clarify. Agreed, the track is small and you will have a difficult time jogging as fellow passengers enjoy walking at a leisurely pace, usually 2-3 abreast which makes passing cumbersome. Perhaps if you went very early in the morning to job?
JPR Posted December 17, 2012 #5 Share Posted December 17, 2012 And using Riviera's massive spa is amazing afterwards. Huge sauna and heated tiled chaises to relax on...
niveamap Posted December 19, 2012 #6 Share Posted December 19, 2012 What is the track made of? Any ideas? I just bought a new pair of back shoes for when I am running and would like to make sure that the surface will be OK for me. Thanks!

Sort of a cork-like composite material, no doubt manufactured specifically for the purpose. It appears to be low impact and high traction.
Cruisedreamer1 Posted December 25, 2012 #8 Share Posted December 25, 2012 There is a charge for the spinning classes. The gym is wonderful and was well used on our cruise.
bkfs Posted December 25, 2012 #9 Share Posted December 25, 2012 Does anyone know show many spin classes there are on a 10 day cruise. (On Rivera) I need to decide if its worth packing my spin shoes or just spin in sneakers.
