FLL Hotwire Hotels

I am looking to stay in the Ft. Lauderdale area on the evening of April 5/13, the night before our cruise departs.

 

Hotwire is showing two Hollywood beach area hotels - one for $129 and one for $189. Both are four stars on Hotwire. Does anyone know which hotels either of them would be?

 

I've only used Hotwire for car rentals before, never for hotels, so I'm not really sure how to figure out which hotels they are

 

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hollywood is further from the port, so if you go this route plan on spending about $20 more for transportation (to and from the airport and port) than if you stayed closer to Ft L.

 

It's a great area to stay for more than one night when you have time to enjoy the broadwalk area. For a one night stay, we like to be in Ft L where we can walk the area easily. Hollywood does have a trolley that run around the area on Thurs-Mondays.

 

Like stated, compare the star level, area and amenitites on betterbidding.com's hotel lists for hotwire.

Twice I have bidded 4 star on Hotwire for Hollywood Beach and have received the Crowne Plaza. I would be the other hotel would be the Westin Diplomat. Bob:)
