Bus from Cruise Dock to Isla Verde

We are interested in taking the bus from cruise dock to Isla Verde. Where can board the bus near the cruise dock? What bus should we take to Isla Verde? Thanks.

From San Juan Travel Guide:

The Metropolitan Bus Authority (tel. 787/767-7979 for route information) operates buses in the greater San Juan area. Bus stops are marked by upright metal signs or yellow posts that say PARADA. The bus terminal is the dock area in the same building as the Covadanga parking lot next to the Treasury Department. Fares are 75¢.

This section of Old San Juan is the starting point for many of the city's metropolitan bus routes. One useful route is the A-5, which hits downtown Santurce, Avenida de Diego near Condado, then goes along Loíza Street and down Isla Verde's oceanfront drive where all the hotels are located. You can switch to the B-21 at De Diego Street if you want to go down Condado's main drive, Avenida Ashford.

The B-21 runs from Old San Juan to Condado, while also servicing Plaza Las Americas. The privately run MetroBus runs express buses between Old San Juan and Río Piedras, with stops in Hato Rey and Santurce.

Any bus marked ATI hooks up with the Tren Urbano, probably at its Sagrado Corazón Station, which is its last stop into the city. The ticket costs $1.50 but includes a transfer to take a trip on the train.

Hmmmm not sure but I think you will be on Royal Caribbean ship.

They embark and disembark from the Pan American pier which is totally on the other side of the large U shaped harbor from Old San Juan. Long walk with luggage (or otherwise for that matter)

You might want to check your logistics - I think you may need a taxi.
