We will be staying there pre cruise.... 3 of us... So what's the best option taxi or shuttle.... Do you know about how much. I haven't called hotel yet to ask if they setup shuttle I'm just assuming they would.

Free shuttle from MIA last time I checked.

 

Taxi to port is about $25 per taxi.

Royal is correct - free MIA airport shuttle. The hotel can arrange for a commercial shuttle for about $10 per person or a taxi will cost about $30 incluiding the tip; the ride to the port takes about 15+ minutes depending upon traffic.
