With the water temperature in the mid 70`s I would not enjoy snorkeling with just a rash guard. If your in Nassau I`ll guess Stewart Cove is the operator? I know they have plenty of rental wetsuits as do most outfitters in Nassau. It was 74 surface temp 3 weeks ago when I spent a week diving the Exumas and not a single person had less than a 3mm full suit with hood.

A few years ago we snorkeled Nassau late January. Ambient temp 78, water temp around 70. brrr! It was possible without a wetsuit, but only for about 20 minutes at a time. Since then, I'll always wear a short wetsuit in the Caribbean that time of year.
