piano58 Posted January 4, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2013 In Florida we used to use Cruise Connection shuttle bus. They went out of buisness. Another company took them over. You cant book thru Princess. You have to call them direct. They now charge $100 per person! If we drove from central Florida to Ft Lauderdale pier where would we park? Trying to figure out cost for gas, parking and turnpike fees verses $200 for a shuttle. It is a 4 hour trip. Anyone one who lives in the Villages have any ideas? Depending on the pier you use there are several parking structures next to most piers. Some hotels nearby have free parking while you are gone if you stay there. TFM70 Posted January 4, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 4, 2013 The last time I parked there (2007) , the parking fee was $12 per day.
royalcruz Posted January 4, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 4, 2013 The turnpike costs about $15 each way and Port Everglades parking is $15/day. There are cheaper lots to park in that have free shuttles, but I don't have any recommendations so do a search here.

piano58 Posted January 10, 2013 Author #6 Share Posted January 10, 2013 The phone number for the company that took over is 888-501-5388 http://www.cruiseconnection.travel I think $100 is too much. We plan to drive 4 hours and use Park and Go for $8 a day. The terminal charges $

Lou33 Posted January 15, 2013 #8 Share Posted January 15, 2013 Have you considered renting a car each way? If you have a longer cruise, that may be the way to go, rather than pay for parking.
