Intercontinental vs Marriott??

Just wonder which is best? Any pros or cons? We would like to book a room with a view of the cruise ships!:D

You asked this question in a different thread and received multiple good answers. If all you want is a view of the port area the Intercontinental and Holiday Inn Port of Miami are the 2 closest that have port views. There are other hotels throughout the Biscayne Bay area that also have port views. You need to base your decision on what is in your price range or what kind of amenities you are expecting from the hotel. Hotels in downtown Miami run the whole spectrum from basic accommodation to luxury suites.

Marriott has multiple hotels that have port views one is the Marriott Marquis which is quite expensive. There is the Marriott Biscayne Bay that is further from the port but is a high rise building that has views of the port.

The Intercontinental is a mid price range high rise hotel that has port views. Both the Marriott Biscayne Bay and Intercontinental have food and shopping within walking distance. Both are nice hotels with similar amenities.

If you are a member of a certain hotels frequent guest program consider hotels within that hotel brand. Good luck.
