n6uqqq Posted January 18, 2013 #77 Share Posted January 18, 2013 I think Miracle is going from Alaska and Austrailia. Inspiration and Imagination will be doing 3/4 day cruises from Long Beach (M-F-M and Sun-Thurs-Sun). Where is this confirmation coming from? I searched the net and found nothing about it. n6uqqq Posted January 19, 2013 #83 Share Posted January 19, 2013 So the imagination we know is definitely coming to Long Beach. The Miracle is doing Mexican Riviera in fall/winter and then Alaska in the summer. I have not seen anything official other than people here saying it is confirmed that Miracle will go to Australia. Anybody here have a link to a reputable news source that miracle is leaving the states to AU?

Don't be too jealous just off today by far the worst experience I have had!!! DD has bruises from camp carnival where some other kid threw a cup & bowl at her picked up one time she was sobbing face was beat red she was next to the speaker when not once but 3 times the microphone was set too close & squealed she has sensitive hearing the staff stated they didn't know what was wrong at first they didn't understand why when it happened she didn't just move um hello she just turned 8 don't you think if you see a child crying you would ask what's wrong or hell call for a parent!!!! Food service was slow at your time dinning buffet lines were long poor selection when we returned to the ship at 2pm on 1st Cabo day! Oh & 3 of our suitcases are now ruined thanks to the room steward who shoved them under the bed I had them neatly under there just asked him to move the couch cushions that were under there instead he put the cushions back under there shoved the suitcases back then set the bed down on top of them bending the frame of the suitcase! So glad to be off there!!

Most of the ships go east? Not very far they don't. There is a very big land mass in the way. I think it is called North America. South, north or west are the directions of choice. ccruisequeen Posted January 21, 2013 #97 Share Posted January 21, 2013 The ships don't go east around Catalina. They go south between Catalina and California. From my viewpoint which is right down the beach from the QM and Harbor, it comes Left past my condo, turns away from the beach to get through the harbor, goes straight away from the beach to Catalina, makes a sharp left turn on the horizon following the Coast along Catalina, then keeps going. I lose sight of it after it passes the oil islands, but I assume it finally makes a turn to go south to Huntington Beach and to Mexico. This time when it went out of the harbor, it went straight and turned Right along the horizon past Catalina.
QTPieRye Posted January 21, 2013 Author #98 Share Posted January 21, 2013 Wow. This was not my favorite cruise. However, I sure didn't have anywhere near the negative experiences you had. Where were you Cuizer?!?!? I went to the aft bar after the safety drill with my blue signs and yelled "Anyone here from CruiseCritic".. they all looked at me like I was a complete idiot! I did meet Terry from San Diego who had a large group of 60 from CC and we chatted briefly! Wish we would have met up with ya! We spent most of our evenings singing karaoke and then in the disco later. Overall we had a great cruise, not our favorite either. Didn't care much for the cruise director... overall felt like the crew was over Mexico and ready for Hawaii. I will never book an extended aft balcony again... the shutter was horrible and loud the entire week and the music from the Morocco Lounge vibrated the entire cabin! LOL. You live and learn. I am going to write a full review.... but did miss ya! P.S. We are already booked on the Liberty for next January... time for a change of scenery :)
QTPieRye Posted January 21, 2013 Author #99 Share Posted January 21, 2013 I wonder how long it will take Carnival to actually process our one day pro-rated refunds! Ought to be interesting! We did have significant OBC between the $50.00, taxes, port fees, and prepaid gratuities :) We ended up with a nice refund at the end!
