Mariner out of Galveston

We are sailing aboard the Mariner on March 3. We'll be coming to Galveston saturday for our day prior. We were really looking forward to going and watching the Disney and Princess ships sail away. That would be so cool. It appears the Disney ship will sail out Friday, not Saturday. Am I reading this right? If so, we can still watch the princess ship sail away. Is that typically 5:00?

As long as you know the times of departure you will have no trouble watching the ships come and go.

 

We usually stay at the Harbor House at Pier 21 so we can see all the coming and goings from our windows. But is you aren't staying you just have to find a comfortable place along the pier. Any place along that pier will give you a great view.

And there are benches along the pier to watch.

We'll be on the same sailing, but we live close enough to just drive over Sunday Morning. I know our last trip in early December The Carnival Magic pulled out right in front of us and we could see it all lit up not that far off well into the night.

 

Maybe we'll see ya on board...
