Regal 10 day Alaska Questions

I have a few questions.

 

In 2002 Princess cancelled all the informal nights and made them casual. What is happenning this year?

 

How much are soda cards for the 10 day cruise?

 

How much are domestic beers? In 2002 they were like 2.95 including tax and tip.

I just got off the Regal a couple of weeks ago so I can tell you that there still aren't any informal nights. Just 2 formal and the rest casual. The soda cards cost $25 and include the souvenir cup. I'm not a beer drinker so I can't answer that question.

We just did the 5/18 cruise and there are 2 formal nights. Soda cards are 25.00 including the coke cup. Don't drink beer so I can't helpyou there.

Prices for alcohol are comparable with what you will find on shore – and sometimes are lower.

I did this trip in August 2004, so my information is somewhat dated…but yes, there were I would say 50% of the men who dressed in tuxes, the rest in suits. There was a sizeable contingent on the cruise who did not dress, but still they were very much in the minority.

On our recent trip it was a mix with more dark suits than tuxes. Alaska is pretty rugged so people dress down a bit as compared to other itineraries, especially on shore days. Ladies were dressed mostly in cocktail attire on formal nights and resort casual on the other nights. We did see 2 women in jeans-but they were young.

Beers are in the neighborhood of 3.50 each, there are the daily bucket specials, "buy 4, get one free" which go for around $14-$17, depending on the brand. Sometimes it is Buy 5 GOF.

10day soda cards were 35bucks on the 6-7 to 6-17 cruise on Regal.
