Puntarenas, Costa Rica

We are cruising to the Panama Canal in March and one of our stops is Puntarenas, Costa Rica. We are having a tough time deciding on a tour. We have been to Sarchi before and spent some time in Monteverde and do not wish to see either again. We have a few tour options:

 

1) Forest Skywalk (Carara National Park) and Pura Vida Gardens

2) Forest Skywalk (Carara National Park) only (1/2 day)

3) Tropical Mangrove (Guacallilo Santuary) Eco Tour

We have done three full transits of the Panama Canal, and so have stopped at Puntarenas three times. The first time we went to the Tarcoles River. On another stop we returned to the Tarcoles River since we enjoyed it so much the first time, and we also have gone to Poas Volcano National Park. There are so many interesting options in Puntarenas that it is a hard decision.
