Things to do by the Galveston cruiseport

We are getting off the Crown princess with a flight departure time of 7:00pm. Is there anything right by the cruiseport that we get to easily? There is seven of us and we really aren't going to want to haul our luggage all over. Thanks for your ideas. Don

But your luggage is the problem.

How are you getting to airport ?

We have a limo picking us up, I just wasn't sure when i should have them pick us up or where. Assuming there is something close for us to go to.

The Downtown Historic Strand area is a few blocks from the terminal with stores and restaurants.

There are shops and restaurants, but there's little to nothing for you to see or do early morning especially with your luggage.

Have you considered a ship transfer that includes a tour?

The Space Center Houston tour , ~4 1/2 hours, would be a good choice. The Princess tour w/transfer is $79 p/person.
