Where do you recommend....

we stay for one night POST cruise in Ft. Lauderdale? I'm assuming we'll be off the Princess ship very early on Sunday morning. We don't fly out until 5:30 p.m. the following day. I would like to stay somewhere nice, on the water, to enjoy that last few hours of vacation before heading back to reality. Any suggestions? ps...looking at The Lago Mar..has anyone stayed there before?

Lago Mar and Harbor Beach Marriott are both very nice. I mention the Marriott because Lago Mar is too far away from anything to walk to, while Marriott is a closer walk to the commercial area of the beach.

A few hotels will drop off at the port, but none that I know of do pick ups.

The Homewood Suites hotel will take you to the Port of Miami as part of their Cruise Miami Package.

 

The hotel is at 2061 Griffin Rd., Dania Beach. and the rate includes

Breakfast, Dinner (M-Th), happy hour (M-Th) and for an additional charge take you to the Port in Miami.

 

We stayed at the Homewood in Orlando and it was great.

The beach front hotels don't offer shuttles but the 2 hotels I mentioned are very close to port and airport so just get a cab.
