Bringing Wine-Only at disembarking or while at port

Good Day all,

 

The title pretty much says it all.

 

Are you only allowed to bring your two bottles on board on initial dis-embarkment?

 

Or can you buy your two bottles at your port of choice to bring onboard?

I assume you're talking about embarkation. Disembarkation is when you get off the ship at the end of your cruise.

 

According to this FAQ, "Guests wishing to bring personal wine and champagne onboard may do so only on boarding day, limited to two (2) 750 ml bottles per stateroom."

 

In addition, it says, "Additional bottles of wine beyond two (2) bottles that are brought onboard or any alcoholic beverages purchased in ports-of-call or from Shops On Board will be stored by the ship and delivered to your stateroom on the last day of the sailing."

 

So, wine can only be brought onboard for consumption during the cruise when you initially board the ship. All other wine will be held until the last day for you to take home with you.

Only at initial embarkation are you allowed to keep the wine you brought on board. All other times they will take the wine from you upon boarding and return it at the end of the cruise.
