What is on your bucket list?

Easter Island has been on my bucket list since I was a kid, but I've kind of given up on seeing it--you never know. I've given up on Antartica and Macchu Pichu too.

 

PLEASE don't give up on Machu Pichu - honestly breathtaking. That was a real treat I'll have for the rest of my life. We went skiing at Huascarán and it was incredibly beautiful. I've skied all over the world and this was close to the top... Even if you don't ski, it's a great place.

All great places. Could not honestly pick which one was our favorite, and would revisit any of them tomorrow if the opportunity arose.

Completely argee with you, corpkid. MP was one of the few "landmarks" we've visited that was even more impressive than we expected. Too often, the hype exceeds reality, but MP completely exceeded our expectations by a long shot.

This is a really "fun" thread!

 

Not much left on my list - Spitzbergen and also a Black Sea cruise. I was sorely tempted by a Silversea cruise to the former which is scheduled for summer 2014 but due to other plans and the cost of the cruise decided not to do it.

 

SS does a great job on their Svalbard cruises - hope you get to experience one firsthand. The wildlife sightings are great, and the history is incredibly interesting.

 

Enjoyed the Black Sea as well - did not realize (realise:)) how beautiful the coastline was, and of course it's so neat to cruise the Bosporus. Some of the ports are not as sophisticated as the Med, though.
