verodoodle Posted January 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2013 We are leaving Saturday on the Constellation and for the last few weeks, every time I check to book Oceans Liners there are only a handful of times available. (& not when we want to go) Do you know if once on board there will be more days/times available? Thanks Dave
Northern Aurora Posted January 25, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2013 It is my understanding that a certain number of "slots" are held for onboard bookings. We never have booked specialty dining before the cruise, but choose to book onboard. We generally drop by the venues we want to book, and talk to the maitre 'd the day on embarkation day. Oville Posted January 25, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 25, 2013 Do it right away. We did b2b cruise on the Constellation earlier this month and we had a very difficult time making reservations at Oceanliners. I strongly recommend going straight there when you board as we were told the specialty restaurants book up quickly on these short cruises.
