If you got your SJU flight through Priceline....

We have not found any great savings on flights through Priceline. We have had good results by using Hotwire, but with Hotwire you still do not know flight times. The flight times we got, however, turned out to be very good for us. I would not book through either if flight time could be a problem. I don't like to use them for a cruise because of the risk of getting an early outbound flight. It's ok if you plan to arrive a day early and stay an extra day.

Ok I did Priceline for the air fare for San Juan in Sept. The cost was 235.00 plus tax and insurance total 300.00 round trip Which I think is great.. icon_rolleyes.gif Considering the price they want other places.. The only problem I see is that we have to leave the ship as soon as it docks in San Juan, cause out flight out is at 10:00 I have read on the boards that it could be possible, to go directly to the purseer desk and let them know right away.. icon_mad.gif But we will see...

I would not recommend priceline for flights if you are cruising unless you are flying a day ahead and staying at least a day after your cruise. The risk of getting a late flight or an early one home is too great. If your flight is, say 7 a.m. on the way home, you won't make it.

ditto what they say--if you are going down the day before and staying til the day after then use priceline. If not--find anouther way.
