MarTex Posted January 29, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2013 Any suggestions on what pasteries to try at Laduree in Paris? I have been to the Laduree in NYC. They only sell the macaroons. $2.50 USD each. A little pricey, but, much better than ones we purchased in St Maartin (not a Laduree). Merci Bien, Allan

Rare cruisemom42 Posted January 29, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 29, 2013 I've only tried the macarons. Perfect accompaniment to a cafe au lait.
buchhalm Posted January 31, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 31, 2013 Just about everything at Laduree is good. Macaroons start at around 1.75€ each. Gorgeous and expensive cakes as well. The main shop is in Rue Royale. Expect to wait for a table. Even better - and a lot more funky - are the macaroons, chocolates and other creations of Pierre Herme' (a bit of a "mad genius"). TOP stuff at high, but justified prices. Several outlets in Paris. I go to the one in Rue Bonaparte.
