Last Minute Med. Prices

I may want to book a last minute Med. cruise in Sept or October. Can anyone advise how the bookings are going. I did notice that Princess just dropped their prices significantly for some June European sailings. Does anyone know how far in advance these sailing may start being discounted. Air is not a challenge for us. Any comments/thoughs would be appreciated.

I've been following the transatlantic prices and know that they came down last week. susan.

I think it will depend on how full the ship is or is not. If the ship's full (as our August Prinsendam sailing is) then there's no reason to discount to fill the berths. Prices shown today are much higher than when we booked last September. But you might be able to find some bargains. Generally final payment time (around 75 days prior to the cruise) is when the balls start seriously rolling to get any remaining cabins sold.
