joand452 Posted February 5, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 5, 2013 According to the website, the Barrachina Restaurant (barrachina.com) still offers free luggage storage. Other suggestions: Take a ship-sponsored excursion in San Juan that will drop you off at the airport. Your luggage will be stored in the bus during the excursion. Don't know if your ship/airline offers this, but we've used the RCI luggage valet service twice. Didn't see our bags until we picked them up at baggage claim after our flight home. It was well worth the $20/person. Hope this helps!

joand452 Posted February 5, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 5, 2013 We fly JetBlue, too, and they've offered the service. We were on Allure and Oasis, however, don't know if other ships offer the service.
Kempa Posted February 5, 2013 #5 Share Posted February 5, 2013 If your airline check-in is open, you can take a taxi to the airport, check-in early, and take a taxi back to OSJ. Barrachina is also an option, as is check-in service through the ship/airline service.
truffles2 Posted February 5, 2013 #6 Share Posted February 5, 2013 Don't know if SJU has been added to luggage valet or not.... Q: What ships are offering the service? A: We are currently working on having this program available on all ships. Currently, the program is offered on sailings 4 nights and longer disembarking in the following ports: Ft. Lauderdale Los Angeles Miami Port Canaveral Seattle Vancouver Seward San Diego
Rare NorbertsNiece Posted February 5, 2013 #7 Share Posted February 5, 2013 Luggage Valet not available out of San Juan as the bags have to go through the Agricultural Inspection at the airport prior to check-in.
