Silly question about making final payment

I'm looking at the website and looking to make my final payment in the next week or so....But when I go to it, it doesn't give me the option of adding gratuity...Is that something I can add or do I need to call my PVP to do that?

I would call you PVP and have her add it. I book online and there is a place to click pre pay gratuity at the time I made my deposit, and it becomes part of my total cruise fare.

If you did not do it when you made the booking, you should be able to call your PVP and have them add it for you.

That's what I figured, but just thought I would check and make sure b4 i called her. Was hoping I could just add it myself!

I have always done it through my PVP. Have done it before final payment and right before the cruise. Was a great way to decrease the S&S. Have a great cruise!

If you phone to add the gratuity you will have to pay for everyone in the cabin at the same time. Don't know why, but that is what I had to do last time.

thanks for this advice, luckily it's a family trip so thats not a problem. Just want to get that chunk out of the way. I totally agree with tipping and I usually pre-pay and give more to dining staff and cabin steward....but it makes my jaw drop paying tips for an 8 nighter... ouch. I think it's only bc I have never been on a cruise this long, so its not usually that much! Will make me feel better to get it out of the way and not see that on my sail and sign card :-)

You'll still see it on your s&s but the prepaid amount shows as a credit so it offsets it.

You have to call. You can call the 1-800 if you cannot reach your PVP and anyone can assist you.
