Who cancelled to move to Celebrity

We were considering another Emerald 10 day east vs. Equinox 10 day south for next January - went with Equinox. In addition to the drink packages, a Concierge Class "hump" cabin (extra large veranda, sitting area, fresh flowers, no tub but large glass wall shower) was about 400 pp less than our customary Emerald deck mini-suite. No-brainer for us.

Nearly same scenario here! Pricing the seven day Royal(standard balcony)versus seven day Reflection in Concierge for April 2014, results in a $240 savings plus the free beverage package. Not a difficult choice to make!

Looked at the Royal (12 nights) and a Celebrity cruise (14 nights) when first released and there was no contest. Celebrity were about £1000 cheaper (including tips). Although we didn't get the drinks package that's now on offer, we worked out that the cruise cost is now around £800 more than we paid. As we don't drink alcohol (apart from the odd glass of wine with dinner) and don't like coffee, this offer wouldn't be much good for us anyway. I'd glad we booked when we did.
