Will things be open on Good Friday & Easter Monday?

Does anyone know if stores, sights, ect... Will be open in Puntarenas, CR on Good Friday or Cartagena on Easter Monday?

Don't really know what will be open with certainty ... but using Panama as a guide, I would think your tours would run as scheduled but shopping in Puntareanas would be limited to non existant. There is not a lot of shopping there anyway. The one thing to lookout for is the Ox Cart factory, in the past it was not open on Sundays. So with that in mind it could very well be closed on Good Friday.

 

In Panama, Easter Monday is pretty much a regular day with everything operating normally. I would think Cartagena would be similar.
