dtbach Posted February 10, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2013 We are going on our first cruise in March and I've rented a floating beach mat for $12. How can I ensure I have this all day, do people every take them? Do I have to keep my eyes on it at all times or is there somewhere it when not in use? Also what about personal belongings: DSLR camera, iPhone etc? Thank you for any feedback or suggestions. Darryl

Most people just keep them by their chairs. One does have a safe feeling on the island, but if you have expensive items, it is best to keep them secured or in a locker. I have a point and shoot camera and never worry about it but still keep it in my beach bag. I also keep my kindle or iPhone in the bag. Don’t tempt people with expensive items.
