Nice Beach, close to port

I am looking for a nice beach close to port, any suggestions?? :)

Morningstar is closest to Havensight (WICO), Lindbergh (aka Emerald) is closest to Crown Bay, both ate popular for beaches close to the docks.

Emerald Beach, but not if you want to snorkel. Snorkeling beaches are further away.

I am cruising with Carnival, and I am not sure where they dock.

 

Also is there public transport available to and from the beaches ;)

You will probably dock at Havensight, there are safari-type taxis stationed at both docks tio whisk you to whatever beach you choose.

Magens Bay is a little further but much nicer than Lindbergh (aka (Emerald) and Morningstar.

The East End beaches another poster mentioned are 20 - 30 minutes away by taxi ($18pp roundtrip) and are arguably the nicest on the island. These are Coki, Sapphire, and Secret Harbor.

Are these beaches good for snorkeling? We are leaving Friday On NCL Epic and would like to take a taxi to a beach with the best (subjective) snorkeling.

Emerald and Magens are not good snorkeling beaches. For snorkeling Coki, Sapphire, or Secret Harbor.

Definitely Sapphire. Read the recent reviews on tripadvisor regarding the snorkeling. We stayed there in January and everyone was very happy with the snorkeling. You have a reef and a separate sea grass area.
