BuffaloBoy Posted February 18, 2013 Author #26 Share Posted February 18, 2013 End of another long but fun day. OH NO! Someone has lost their purse. I hope she got it back. Our guy that signalled that our room was right around the corner!!! Our stateroom was on Deck 4.
BuffaloBoy Posted February 18, 2013 Author #27 Share Posted February 18, 2013 As mentioned in my review on the first page, here is a picture of a Ham & Cheese sandwich that is grilled on the outside but cold as an ice cube on the inside. Fortunately, this sandwich didn't have burnt bread. So that was a plus! A picture of the dying, wilted flower that I paid for to be sent to my Wife for valentines day. A "Cheese burger". Perhaps in some parts of the world this qualifies. But where I come from, the cheese is suppose to be melted. Or at least a bit warm so that it doesnt fly off the burger when you turn to walk back to your table. :p
BuffaloBoy Posted February 18, 2013 Author #28 Share Posted February 18, 2013 The chocolate bar! Yayyy! Choices included cantaloupe, apple, cheesecake, chocolate cake in a ball, donut and more! All can be dipped in chocolate.
kendon Posted February 18, 2013 #29 Share Posted February 18, 2013 Maybe it's just me but asking someone what they spent their money is rather personal, that and quizzing someone on why it's their first post... haven't we all had a "first post??" Beautiful answer.
BuffaloBoy Posted February 18, 2013 Author #30 Share Posted February 18, 2013 The Beatles show! Fantastic, Fun, Cool all describe this show. Such a great time. The vocal artists were great and the props and costumes were good too! Glow sticks! LET IT BE!
SMSACE6 Posted February 18, 2013 #31 Share Posted February 18, 2013 Thanks for your review, and sorry you had those issues. Sounds like you still had a decent time though. Thanks also for the great photos!:)
BuffaloBoy Posted February 18, 2013 Author #32 Share Posted February 18, 2013 Here are a few videos I took of the Beatles show. Good stuff! Eleanore Rigby ... Ob-La-Di ... Another one ...
omalley16 Posted February 18, 2013 #33 Share Posted February 18, 2013 The chocolate bar! Yayyy! Choices included cantaloupe, apple, cheesecake, chocolate cake in a ball, donut and more! All can be dipped in chocolate. Don't get me started on that chocolate bar. The walnuts with sugar is still my favorite (I just covered a bunch of cake pops with chocolate, kinda tired of chocolate at the moment...) BuffaloBoy Posted February 18, 2013 Author #34 Share Posted February 18, 2013 A few panoramas of the Casino. Cha-Ching! (OK not for us but Cha-Ching for other people!!!) I actually thought the Casino was quite elegant. The Comedians who worked the first 3 days of the Cruise. And the Comedians who worked the last 2 days. BuffaloBoy Posted February 18, 2013 Author #35 Share Posted February 18, 2013 We had a couple VERY rough days at sea. Rough enough to make the pools unsafe and spill over. Rough seas video ...
BuffaloBoy Posted February 18, 2013 Author #36 Share Posted February 18, 2013 A few photos of our "Duct tape door" that we had to unscrew to get open. I wish I didn't take a bunch of the duct tape off before taking the picture. It was quite the sight!

jsmac3 Posted February 19, 2013 #39 Share Posted February 19, 2013 Thanks for the review & great pictures. Good luck with Carnival. One question - was the Statue of Liberty on the starboard side as you departed NY?
BuffaloBoy Posted February 19, 2013 Author #40 Share Posted February 19, 2013 One more from Serenity. Another view of the Mad Hatters - aka The Punchliner. Were getting closer to the Bahamas! We know because the warm weather is here and we can use the open pool area.

Crusin Karen Posted February 19, 2013 #43 Share Posted February 19, 2013 Oh how funny!!! Not surprising since we spent every night in there. We sat at the 2@ slots every single night after dinner. Made it to 1500 points and free drinks by day 2 and we weren't even trying! The picture you took I think was a long time ago aka yesterday afternoon. We were just walking around. aggiejade Posted February 19, 2013 #44 Share Posted February 19, 2013 Thanks for sharing your experience and the great pictures! I will be sailing on the Miracle later this year. Is there a cost to attend the food demo and tasting at Nick and Nora's? Do you have to sign up for it ahead of time?
jaxstiles Posted February 19, 2013 #45 Share Posted February 19, 2013 Great pics!! Loved the panoramic ones the best! Sorry Your cruise wasn't all that you had hoped for. Carnival really should've been a lil more accomadating. I mean really the flowers and duct tape said a lot! :(
BuffaloBoy Posted February 19, 2013 Author #46 Share Posted February 19, 2013 The Phantom Theatre! Home to many of the activities on board. My favorite theatre on any ship so far. Multiple levels and PLENTY OF SPACE. The tables in front of your seats are very useful. Sorry this is a blurry picture but there is a GREAT STORY to tell about it. Chris K, the announcer in the picture, turned around putting his back to the crowd. He announced that he would turn around and whoever did the wildest thing and got his attention would get to come on stage and be a contestant. One little boy hopped on the stage and stood right to his back. When Chris K turned around, the little boy was standing right there. Chris about peed himself. It was hilarious! Here is the little boy with his head barely peaking over the podium!

BuffaloBoy Posted February 19, 2013 Author #49 Share Posted February 19, 2013 Great pics!! Loved the panoramic ones the best!Sorry Your cruise wasn't all that you had hoped for. Carnival really should've been a lil more accomadating. I mean really the flowers and duct tape said a lot! :( Haha you said it. The saddest thing about the flower is that the free flower they gave away at Dinner was in MUCH better shape than the flower I paid for!
Wrinks22 Posted February 19, 2013 #50 Share Posted February 19, 2013 Great review. I sailed on her twice 4-5 years ago and they had the Beatles show. Surprised they still have it. Sorry to here about your problems.
