JohnIreland Posted February 20, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2013 No. I have never seen anything like it on any non-RCCL ship.
London-Calling Posted February 20, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2013 In short, no! NCL ships do not tend to have tall vertical atrium's either, like many RC ships. I guess NCL use such spaces for the many dining options. Bear in mind that RCI still essentially have the 'one big dining room' system, with some smaller alternative options. Epic, by contrast has 21 dining options (many smaller dining rooms). Thinking about it, Epic entertainment decks are very 'open plan' with minimal doors. As you walk along you pass through the casino, through various bars and past various entertainment venues and dining rooms. You get a sort of 'Shopping Mall' feel. In a sense this is a bit like a Royal Prom, although spread over several decks.
