Today I received and e-mail from CC. re: a 3 day sale. I called my TA and got $1700 off my BTB because my cruises were included in the sale.

Consider yourself lucky! As I had understood the WOW sale current bookings were not eligible, now if it was a price drop with no exclusions that is something different!

That must have been a price drop. The WOW is really about 50% deposits and OBC. If you have a cruise booked and the price dropped, it's no problem (if outside final payment) getting the lower price. You just can't get the OBC or reduced deposit.

I didn't mean "WOW SALE", I was just saying WOW.

Another Cruise site sent an e-mail announcing the 3 day sale, so I contacted my TA. In any event, since my first leg was already paid for,they have already "issued" a credit to my credit card, (althought I thought it would be in the form of a cruise credit), and the second leg has been price adjusted. No re-booking needed. I've have had to re-book in the past to get discount, but it was not necessary this time.

I posted just to get the info out there in case it would help others.
