Anthony&David Posted March 4, 2013 #29 Share Posted March 4, 2013 We were in 10006 on the Dawn from 01/27 through 02/03. The cabin was in great shape and very comfortable; we spent a lot of time relaxing there and it was one of our best vacations. :) Every day, we enjoyed the front balcony (there were certainly times it was windy when standing near the railing, but even this for a short time was enjoyable). On the side balcony, there was no lounge chair when we arrived, so we asked the butler for one and he brought us one (actually, he offered us two, but we thought that would make it a bit too crowded given that there was already a table with four chairs). As already mentioned by another poster, there was no distracting noise, which is one of the things we like about being in a forward cabin (this was our third time) - at times, it felt like we were alone on the ship and it was easy to forget there were thousands of others on board. Regarding movement, this was noticeable at times, but I am not sure if it is worse than elsewhere. We had purchased the thermal suite weekly pass for the spa, which is located at the rear of the ship. On one of the bumpier days, I definitely felt the movement there too. gelo7 Posted March 4, 2013 #30 Share Posted March 4, 2013 I never felt any additional motion in the Haven area.
