How sunny is it on the Martha Brae?

Good combination of both sun and shade. I've done the trip twice and wore swimsuits both times, because there is an opportunity to swil now and then.

Bottom line.... if you burn easily and don't want to wear sunscreen, wear the pants.

Thanks for the reply. We've decided it's not for us (I burn even slathered with sunscreen). I'm glad you've enjoyed it.

You probably made a very good decision. There are times when it is impossible to avoid being directly in the sun. We would not do Martha Brae again.

It was fun to do it once but the trip from Falmouth was twice as long as we had been led to believe. If you want to spend 3 hours on the road it would suit you fine. The river is shaded most of the time, but if you burn easily you might want something else.

Hear You! We took this out of Ocho Rios and there was WAY more time on the road than the short time actually on the river.

Can you swim there?
