Royal Family Suite - Deck 8 or Deck 9??

Have option of Deck 8 or Deck 9 for a RFS on Voyager of the Seas?

 

Any views on which is better (or you would prefer) would be greatly appreciated!!!

Since the aft of the VY has infrastructure in the way,I say the higher the better......deck 9.

If I remember right, the structure gets less the further up you go.

 

I believe we were on deck and had a great time.

Double-check the deck plans, but I'm pretty sure the concierge lounge is on deck 9. (It is on Explorer.) I'd take that into consideration, if you plan to use the CL.

Another vote for deck 9. I've had a RFS on Mariner deck 9 and it was great. My friends had the RFS below us on 8. We had more privacy and a better view.

We had the Royal Family Suite on the Navigator. It was deck 9, and I would not have liked the view from deck 8. I posted pics of the cabin here on CC. Here is the link if you want to take a look.
