Waitlisted on Jewel of the Sea 3/11

Trying to book a last minute cruise from Tampa on Monday March 11th.

 

Agents tell me unfortunately its sold out completely.

 

I have paid a refundable deposit and am wait listed.

 

Just wondered amongst the more experienced of you if you think there is normally a good chance of something coming up.

 

Really want a balcony room or possibly a suite.

This late it will be tough to get a suite. Balcony is possible. With bad weather up north some people may miss flights to Tampa or they may canx due to bad weather. For the most part it's a waiting game for you.

I live in Tampa so can go literally at the last minute assuming they have enough time to get international clearance etc.

Really hope i can get on the cruise.

That explains it!! Typical of my luck .

 

I will just wait patiently by the phone . Royal Caribbean said I was in first place on the waitlist so maybe there will be a chance.

Just got a balcony room, really pleased.

 

Just a quick tip. I called literally 4 times a day and then on my last call a room came up. I didnt receive a call but maybe it was coming but if anyone is in the same position as I was i would definitely keep calling.

I had to pay a refundable deposit of $100 and was placed on the waitlist. They gave me a booking number to use.

 

The room came up today for mondays cruise after i had been calling 4 times per day last 2 days.
