I'm in the process of planning our 3rd Annual Supervisory Company Cruise. Our theme this year is "Celebrating Life". I am looking for a fun, interactive activity to do as a group (20-25 people). Any ideas????

Thanks in advance for all the wonderful advice I know I will get. :)

P.S. - The company provides community based homes (24 hr supervision/care) for individuals with intellectual and/or physical disabilities.

Poker/Cabin Crawl

Scavenger Hunt

At the risk of sounding silly I have to ask: What is a cabin crawl?

A scavenger hunt sounds fun. I wonder if I can pay Carnival to arrange it.

Thank you!

A cabin crawl is when a group of people arrange to visit each others' cabins. I don't know if for your small group whether you have a variety of cabins, such as inside, oceanview, balcony, aft wraps, suites etc. It gives everyone a chance to see the different types of cabins. If you have a variety and think this might be feasible, I can give you more info to set it up.

Most Carnival ships already have a digital scavenger hunt which your group can be involved in. Just suggested it as a private activity your group might want to do on its own.

We only have inside, balcony and a JS for the "Big" Boss. Maybe he should host a small get together. Maybe I should ask each room to host something during the cruise, a few each night. Hmmmm.....they have 6 months to prepare.

I've seen the regular digital scavenger hunt, was just wandering if they might be able to keep me from having to think up something. :D

We played cruise bingo last year with our group so fun!!! One member made up bingo cards (he used a free Internet site by searching) and put in things like:

Bikini guy

Sleeping lobster

Screaming kid

All white bathing suit

You can think a d make up anything you want

It was so funny!!

A "Slot Pull" is generally good fun. People all invest the same amount (generally $9 to $20). All the money is collected and put into one machine. People then sit down and take a predetermined number of "pulls", then the next person sits down and tries their luck.

Search GOOGLE for "Casino Slot Pull" and you'll have lots of tips there!!

You could do a "dirty santa" gift exchange for the last sea day. Have everyone pick up a unique "gift" (set a price limit - we use $20) on one of the islands (if you were all coming from different cities it could be from home, too) and then wrap them up. Get together on the last sea day and draw numbers - person #1 picks a gift, unwraps it, and shows it to the group. Person #2 can pick a new gift or the one person #1 unwrapped. (if they pick gift #1, that person opens a new gift). It continues with each person - if a gift is stolen, it cannot be immediately stolen back by the person it was taken from, but they can steal another gift if they want to or open a new one. You may want to set a limit on the number of times a gift can be stolen (after the 3rd steal, it is with its permanent owner) depending on how many people are playing. After everyone has had a chance to open a gift, person #1 then gets the last "steal". It's a blast, can be very funny depending on how creative your group is, and usually everyone gets in the spirit.

One tip - unless you want a lot of alcohol, you might want to say "no booze" - that's too easy on the islands - you want people to put a little thought into it - either that or in your "rules" state that the gift can't be "only booze" - in other words, a bottle of cheap nasty rum is not okay, lol. (especially since the group would technically have to "smuggle" the booze back onboard to have it available and it might not make it on).

Lol......regarding cheap liquor. Half don't drink, and the other half hate cheap liquor.

Thanks ALL for all the good ideas. Please keep them coming!
