Bear viewing without a floatplane?

Denali Park is your best nonflying and cheapest option. But you need a min. of at least 3 extra days, not including travel days. And 2 nights at Denali Park, with a SHUTTLE bus ride to at least Fish Creek. http://www.nps.gov/dena

But don't miss out on the excellent touring opportunities in Seward. A big waste to just pass through. :(

We are actually spending 2 days in Seward, then have another 2 days that I have not planned yet. (We ended up with extra time after our June 3 cruise on Summit was canceled. I had to take whatever was available flight-wise when we rebooked because I was using frequent flier miles. I am so sad to have extra time in Alaska! :D ) Anyhow, I was hoping to find a way to add in bear viewing without spending a lot of money for the 3 of us. I could fit in Denali only if we skip Seward, but I don't want to do that!

Any other suggestions for how to spend those 2 days?
