This program offered by Seabourn sounds very appealing to me. Anybody else used this? Opinions, please. (I'll be on the Pride's Baltic cruise departing Copenhagen in June.)

I used this service on a cruise departing from Athens. DHL picked up the bags at my door and they were waiting in the suite upon arrival. At the end of the cruise, we just left the bags in the suite and they were delivered home within the week. It was wonderful to fly internationally with just a carry-on. Definitely worth the price.

I have used Luggage Forward several times and it has been well worth the price for me. their customer service is wonderful.

Totally agree with all the other comments. We have used this service extensively and could not travel without it. We live in a remote area and they have arrived to collect our luggage in blizzard, hail, dark of night, all conditions. It is amazing to us and so reassuring since we cannot tote our big luggage for long trips.

Sounds great! I'll have an overnight in a hotel before the cruise begins, though. Will they deliver my luggage to the hotel if I ask for that, or do I have to get along without it until I board the ship?

Yes, they will deliver to your hotel. flying without luggage is one of the best luxuries on a luxury cruise. I highly recommend it.

There is a premium to ship directly to the ship/your suite as the port agent has to get involved. If you can handle getting your luggage from your hotel to a taxi to the dock, you will save a hefty premium.
