Course taken for transpacific Petropavlovsk to Vancouver?

We've booked a transpacific for next year in May. I'm curious about the course from our last port of call in Petropalovsk Russia to our destination in Vancouver?

Is it more or less a straight line or do they detour in anyway to achieve better seas/weather? I've watched a few too many "Deadliest Catch" episodes and am wondering what to expect on our voyage.

Anyone with experience on a similar transpacific voyage this time of year who can share their thoughts?

When we sailed on Millennium to Vancouver from Petropavlovsk this year, we had several ports in Alaska so we sailed as DesertPesce suggested.

This is the great circle route, so I imagine you will do the same even without the stops.

We had a corner cabin on deck 11 too and it was a bit rocky in the Bering Sea, otherwise very calm. We enjoyed it very much.
