Cruise ship 07/13/13 - 07/14/2013

We will be in St Pete's 07/13 - 07/14 on HAL, Eurodam. Itinerary states arrive 07/13 cruising and overnight and 07/14 leave 6pm. Do we get off ship on 07/13 or just cruising?

The (Holland America website) itinerary says you will arrive in port at 7am on July 13th, and depart at 6pm on July 14th. It doesn't say anything about sailing on the 13th.

 

You have most of two days for touring.

You have two days to tour St. Petersburg. It's a wonderful city to visit.

 

I recommend booking excursions through a private company. I used SPb Tours and they were great. You need a VISA to tour Russia. Many private tour companies will handle this for you. SPb Tour emailed our VISA voucher to us. Private tours cost less than ship excursion and have 6 to 16 people in the group.

 

You must show the Russian customs agent your passport and VISA/voucher from private tour company or cruise line, before you are allowed to leave the port area.
