2GACruisers Posted March 19, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 19, 2013 Been trying to check rates for March 2014. No past guest rates come up beyond August, only rates that show up for me are Fun Select, Easy Saver, Early Saver. Anyone else have this problem? Rare shof515 Posted March 19, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2013 had to dig around for this fine print: FRIENDS & FAMILY EVENT - PAST GUEST EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW Offer is applicable on select sailings through August 31, 2013.
2GACruisers Posted March 19, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted March 19, 2013 Yes, I understand the current sale apply to sailings booked through August. Problem is when I do a mock booking for March 2014, Past Guest rate is not listed.
kingoftheicedragons Posted March 19, 2013 #4 Share Posted March 19, 2013 Past guest rate was showing for the only cruise I looked at yesterday, which is mine in October. It was also included in the friends and family sale.

ibcnusoon Posted March 19, 2013 #6 Share Posted March 19, 2013 Maybe Carnival adds "past guest rate" later on closer to the cruise?
CRUISEMAMMA Posted March 19, 2013 #7 Share Posted March 19, 2013 We booked July 2014 two weeks ago through carnival and we booked past guest. I noticed last week the past guest was no longer on our sailing and the rates were several hundred dollars higher than when we booked
Sparky2 Posted March 19, 2013 #8 Share Posted March 19, 2013 I just checked Carnival's website & Past Guest is no longer showing for the B2B cruises we've booked for 2014. I'm 99% sure PG was available when we booked the cruises onboard.
NHBelle Posted March 19, 2013 #9 Share Posted March 19, 2013 I am confused...can anyone book these rates or do you have to be a past guest....I can't find anywhere where it says you have to be a past guest. The price of our cruise dropped by several hundred dollars and I would like to take advantage of the great rate, but I am a newbie.....1st time cruise...can I book this deal or not???? Freckles_51 Posted March 19, 2013 #17 Share Posted March 19, 2013 Same here....booked a few weeks ago for April 2014 using PG rate, no longer showing. I believe PG rates are not always available, however Past Guests automatically get 2 category upgrade ....from Carnival web site... To thank you for sailing with Carnival again, enjoy an automatic two-category upgrade, refundable deposit subject to cancellation terms and no change fee. Exclusive offer for guests who have sailed with Carnival. A valid past guest number is required from at least one person in each stateroom to book this rate. Two category upgrade is based on availability in like to like categories only (interior to interior, ocean view to ocean view and balcony to balcony). Change fees are not assessed outside of the final payment window. Refundable deposit subject to cancellation penalties. Click here for additional information and details. sooner9795 Posted March 19, 2013 #18 Share Posted March 19, 2013 I'm glad I got in yesterday. So far I have $277 in OBC for my upcoming cruise. I have family on the same cruise who have two cabins right next to ours, and they are having problems getting anything. That is Carnival's biggest fault. They are so wishy washy. It just depends on who you get to talk to.:mad::mad:
