I am on the verge of changing my favorite baseball team ;) the Cubs look more like an average High School team :eek:

 

You must be a Chicago Transplant in Florida...can't say that I blame you one bit :D

 

What do you think of the Blackhawks this season??? And what do you think of the Bears not re-signing Brian Urlacher??

 

Been down here 21 years....

LOVE my Hawks!

Really sad about Urlacher.....It's gonna be a long season next fall....

Is Jamaica really as bad as people say it is? My husband and I are cruising to Western Caribbean with a stop in Montego Bay and reading all the reviews about Jamaica I'm a little concerned. Please, I would love everyone's opinion about Jamaica.

 

Everybody has their preferences about what port they like and what ports they don't like. I would definitely make sure that you have an organized tour when you're in Jamaica. I wouldn't venture out on my own

If you think those sunset pics were good----just wait. I have some of the best sunset pics that I have ever taken coming up. The sunset the night I took those pics was breathtaking

Thanks for the tips. My daughter wants to do the Bobsled, so I think we will do that and do a little bit of shopping before heading back to the ship.

 

The Margaritaville in Ocho Rios is in that shopping area that is relatively close to the port area. They have a small pool and waterside there. That might be fun for your daughter after your trip on the Bobsled excursion.

I'm sure you will have a great time on the Bobsleds

One of the big reasons why we booked this cruise on the Freedom was because of the price but also because it went to Key West----for me it is hard to pass up on any cruise that goes to Key West. I just love it there

We always decorate our door because it is a good way to find your room at night after a long day of drinking :p This year we decided to go with a "Our Road to Platinum" theme which showed every Carnival ship we have been on including the dates and the ports of call.

We didn't waste any time getting off the ship. We had continental breakfast delivered to the cabin that morning because we wanted to get off as soon as we could. We were off by 8:15 am

This was our 4th time in Key West...each time we have been there we have rented an electric car for the day. It is the best way to get around with the limited amount of time you have to enjoy your day in Paradise.

This time was no different we decided to rent with Sunshine Scooters because they had the best rates. I am so happy that we rented from them because they were so friendly. There is a van that will pick you up in the port area and then return you to the port when you are done with your car for the day. Our driver was Tommy Lee. He was absolutely wonderful...he even offered me a job if I move down to Key West. He said I could come work at Sunshine Scooters...sounds like a good offer to me

Here was our little car....at one point (about halfway through the day) we had to take our car back and get a new one because the battery was running low. Between the 2 cars we put on almost 40 miles for the day....it was an absolute blast

Once we got our electric car I had made a list with a map of so many different places that I wanted to stop in Key West....so we were off to explore for the day

It was like a ghost town on Duval Street this early....it was really nice. All the crazies hadn't woke up yet :p

My dad always gives me a bunch of crap that my car has to many cruising stickers on the back window. Now if my car looked like this he would have something to complain about :p

Hog's Breath Café store...I always have to buy a shirt from here. "Hog's Breath is Better Than No Breath At All."

One of our first stops with our electric car was at the Key West Pretzel Company. The Pretzel shop is right around the corner from Kermit's Key Lime Pie Shoppe

My dad ordered the regular pretzel and I ordered the cinnamon pretzel with vanilla and caramel drizzle. I can't even begin to explain how good these pretzels were. My dad tried the Key Lime Mustard with his and he liked it.

Love the review and pics! Just added the pretzel place to my Key West list....

 

My dad hates my shoes....haha. And he really hates it when people give me compliments on them. I told him I was gonna get him a pair. They are so comfortable.

You have to visit the Key West Pretzel shop.....they are so good. And be sure to get a Strawberry Lemonade with it.

Did you decide what you're gonna do in Grand Cayman yet??

Thank-You. If you love sunset pics then just wait I have some really good ones coming up that are just beautiful.

I have never done the Pub Crawl because my dad and I aren't big drinkers but while we were driving around on our electric car we saw a lot of people walking around on the Pub Crawl tour.

I have a lot more food porn pics
